Every year, on this day, we try to do a little extra special like marking this milestone with cupcakes or a special treat.
This year, in preparation for the 100th day treat, I made cake like brownies. {or at least that is what the back of the brownie mix described it as} Then, I whipped up some homemade peanut butter icing. Spreading it on thick, I knew the children would love this dessert, especially with the added chocolate syrup, whipped cream, chocolate/peanut butter candy, and chocolate milk!
On the actual 100th day, we met friends at a park for a late afternoon hike. We arrived home in time for dinner and dessert.
