Last week, I shared the top ten free, or nearly free field trips we have taken over the years. While it is absolutely wonderful to go places for free, there are some places we did choose to spend money to visit. Those are the field trips that top this week's list.
Ten Field Trips Worth the Admission Price, for us, are:
1. Plimoth Plantation (the living history actors interaction with our family was amazing!)
2. Mount Vernon
3. Maple Sugaring demonstration and participation
4. Caverns
5. Orchard House (made the list only for me, but I'd drag the family there again)
6. Hands on Science Museum
7. Railroad museum and train ride
8. Tabernacle replica
9. Aquarium (walking through a dry tunnel with sharks swimming overhead and beside, and a glass wall between...)
10. Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology
Sounds like a fun list!
ReplyDeleteI would agree about the tabernacle replica...the others would be mostly new to me though!
ReplyDeleteThat's a gerat list - we've been working on getting to Mt Vernon!
ReplyDeleteOh, I totally agree about Plimouth Plantation! We had hoped to get there next month, but I'm not sure it'll work out! Such a GREAT place for living history! Stopping by from Hip Homeschool Hop!
