A Nature Walk - Summer Gardens

One evening, we took a trip to the public gardens.  We had really gone to see the new light exhibit, an artistic luminary display best seen after sunset.  However, we wanted to poke around the gardens for a little bit before we walked the same paths in the dark.

Then, we stumbled upon this flower turned tree...

We saw a few of the typical garden insects...

and a few of the typical pond wildlife,...

and we caught a few fireflies as the sun set.
