Did you know you really can stand an egg on its end?

At about 10 AM, the phone rang.  It was one of my older son's friends calling.  He had just tried and successfully managed to stand an egg on its end.  Actually, he balanced three in a row, separately, of course!  After explaining the process to my son, the two ended their conversation.  My son's friend had to get back to math.  It was in the middle of school after all {smile}.  Immediately, my son asked for an egg to try it.   He was able to successfully stand his egg on its end, as did all of the children, except our preschooler.  The youngest preferred to just shake his egg while dancing about the room.
