Incorporating a nature walk whenever possible is one of our favorite homeschool activities. We find some common and some uncommon sites, but each time is an adventure in observation.
Beautiful photos! We too love to be outside for some of our homeschooling, especially when the fall days are just too pretty to resist. :) Usually we just head out and see what we find. Our favorite places are local state parks. We have 4 that are close to us. There is a also a nature center that's always fun. Occasionally we do set out looking for something specific (a type of plant or insect they want to find), but I enjoy the random, leisure explorations myself. :)
